John White

President and Chief Executive Officer

John White serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Pressio Spine. Mr. White has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining the company, he served as the Vice President of Global R&D for Wright Medical’s Lower Extremities division, as well as the Vice President of business development, responsible for Wright’s global M&A activities that supported $930 million in transactions. Preceding Wright Medical, Mr. White served as the Vice President of Research and Development at Expanding Orthopedics, a trauma focused startup company, held various Research and Development roles at Medtronic Spine, and served in a Research and Development position with Smith and Nephew. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and is the holder of several medical device patents.

David Schmidt

Chief Commercial Officer

David Schmidt serves as the Chief Commercial Officer of Pressio Spine. Mr. Schmidt began his healthcare sales career with Procter & Gamble and brings over 25 years of medical device sales and leadership experience. Most recently, he served as an Area Sales Director for Wright Medical’s lower extremity division. Prior to Wright Medical, Mr. Schmidt spent 20 years with Medtronic Spine in various sales and leadership positions which included managing the eastern half of the U.S. for the Enabling Technologies sales team focused on spinal navigation and robotics. For several years, he served as a representative with the Medtronic Global Government Affairs Department advocating for healthcare policy locally and in Washington, D.C. Prior to Medtronic, Mr. Schmidt was with Surgical Dynamics and United States Surgical spine division.
