Pressio Spine™ Receives Patent Issuance for the CONTINUUM™ ACDF Nitinol Fixation System
Pressio Spine™ is proud to announce the issuance of US Patent US 11,974,739 entitled “Compression and Fixation Systems and Processes for Using the Same.” Authored by Joe Ritz, Eric Marcano, and Daniel Leas, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon. The patent covers Pressio Spine’s CONTINUUM™ ACDF Nitinol Fixation System, which received clearance by the FDA in 2021 for single-level use in anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) procedures from C3 to C7 in conjunction with a surgeon’s choice of interbody device.
